"This listing has been changed since I booked it, but it's still inaccurate. It was originally listed as a 2brm 2ba entire home with fully loaded kitchen, linens, etc. It was all a lie! AND as if that wasn't enough, the host tried to make us feel guilty because he messed up the listing & wasn't making much money. "The views are magnificent! The room was large, rustic, very comfortable and clean! We stayed in White Cap 1, and it was everything we wanted and more! Imagine waking up to a full ocean front view every day! The staff was wonderful. Check In with Mrs. Ricketts went smoothly! The Jamaican breakfast every morning was wonderful. They did offer American breakfast. But who goes to Jamaica to eat pancakes? We really appreciated the included breakfast as another hotel we stayed at later actually charged for Jamaican breakfast, despite saying breakfast was included. But I digress. Note, if you go, which you should, make sure you have transportation, as nothing is within walking distance! We had lunch one day, a little pricey, but delicious! All in all the hotel is definitely worth a visit!"

"Pristine is the word I’ll use to describe the grounds of Strawberry Hills. Felt like I was close to heaven🙂 because we were so far in the mountains of Irish Town, St Andrew. The rooms were immaculately maintained and the decor complimented the architectural period of the cottages. We woke up early to witness a magnificent sunrise then enjoy a fresh delicious breakfast. From Demario who greeted us upon our arrival to Kevin who assisted us with our luggage to Jassett who exemplified customer service greatness while caring for our breakfast needs. I didn’t want to leave but life… I hope to return but if life doesn’t allow me the opportunity to, I can say Strawberry Hill has filled spaces in my heart lost to the bustle of life."

"The property was extremely clean. The host Barbara, was very friendly. The moment we arrived she made us feel at home. We didn't expect breakfast but was served a mix of fresh fruits and warm pancakes, ,tea coffee and juice. We only spent 1 night and will definitely be back. It's a very nice chill spot to stay. Away from the hustle and bustling. I would highly recommend this place for staying. "

"Room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly, location was great. The direction instructions to get to the location makes a lot of sense as long as you are paying attention to every detail. I love the seclusion away from commotion. The view was beautiful up on the hill. I will be staying here again in the near future, God-willing."

"Geejam was a breath of fresh air after cancelling & leaving another property in Portland early & concluding our vacation here. The staff was very kind & hospitable. We definitely enjoyed the free breakfast daily & the food was good. We had a good time at dinner as well & drinks were made well. My only gripe is the gap under the doors of the rooms, which allowed stink bugs to crawl in nightly. That has to be addressed a.s.a.p.! No one enjoys creepy crawly things in their rooms & potentially in their bed. My boyfriend's family also rented one of the villas for the week, Panorama, which was a lovely experience as a large group gathering together. Overall a good experience & if visiting Portland again, we would definitely stay at the Geejam again."

"Very tropical eco retreat vibe. Everything is solar. There are actually 2 pools and they are invitingly warm. Breakfast is served a bit late so if you are an early riser enjoy the sunrise while you wait. The views are breathtaking and I'll be back to see the final reveal."

"The owners were so kind and helpful. This is THE hidden treasure of Kingston. Bob Marley beach is walking distance and the rooftop patio was breathtaking. The AC in the rooms was perfect to cool off after a hot day. This hotel also has a bar and the pool is cute and deep enough for the kids to jump in. The rooms are very traditional Jamaican style/decor and VERY clean. The wifi was strong and overall this was a fabulous likkle spot. Mi soon come back"
