The staff were so helpful and friendly and the gardens on the property were incredible. Beds are smaller and harder than expected but we made them work. The only other thing that I didn’t care for was having to pay to use the pool. The room was more spacious than others we stayed in at Tokyo AND there was AC that actually worked! Which was much needed in July. If you use the gym, it’s very small. There is onsite laundry but you have to dry your clothes multiple times which was annoying. "This place was absolutely wonderful! My first time experiencing an onsen and it was amazing. The shuttle pick up and drop off from the train station was great. The welcoming staff at check in/check out. The room I selected was AMAZING!! So serene and quiet. I got the private bath with my room, and boy was it relaxing.
