7.6/10 Good! (3,714 reviews)
A terribly expensive "budget" hotel. The best part was location, if you like the Upper West Side. No hot water in the shower. No clock in the room. I asked for a wake up call and I never got it. No Kleenex in the bathroom. The lobby has potential to be inviting but an expensive update would be need. Never gonna happen. The elevators were very dark because light bulbs within the fixtures needed replacing. As a result it felt creepy. And to add insult to injury I was asked for a resort fee on top of what I had already paid in advance. I asked why ? What does it go towards. One of the things he mentioned was parking. Not sure if the parking lot was big enough for the jet I flew into NY with. This was the cheapest hotel room I could find. After all the added fees this hotel room was 490.00 US dollars per night. Insanity.

It’s a great location
But for the price tag I was expecting a high end experience
The room views are non existent
The entire space is like old and dimly lit
Staff was very helpful
Overall I was disappointed

"A great place for a family holiday with all you need. Restaurant was top notch for breakfast with something for everyone. Beachside room was basic for the price but quiet most of the time. Beach next door was a better option for us as a busy time of year in August and hotel beachfront very busy with ..."
