The customer service was excellent- from the arrival to the departure every person we spoke to was extremely helpful and kind. The rooms were huge and spacious- our party of 4 really only needed one room if we knew the size but had two rooms and it was ample space. The location was great, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are charming and beds comfortable (although soft). Would recommend and stay here again.

A traditional Danish hotel, catering for the Danish market. Staff are superb - very friendly, cannot do too much to make you welcome, cope with late orders to the restaurant, always willing to help. Not cheap but excellent value for money. A bit quaint by UK standards but very clean and well presented. If you want to stay in Svendborg, stay here!

Great location but poor quality of rooms

The hotel is nice with tons of rooms but the rooms are very dated. Don't let the pics deceive you (I was tricked). The hotel lobby and breakfast lounge are nice. The hotel location is great. The parking can be challenging based on how busy they are but it's free so can't complain. The hotel room, decor, and bedding were dated. The shower was barely enough to stand.

This property is as expected an old building. The bathrooms for each room are unsafe as the shower floods the entire bathroom. Very nice breakfast that had fresh fruit and lots of nice choices. We booked a queen bed room and were given the worst room in the place with a small double bed. Bed mattress is very old and very uncomfortable. When I inquired about what we booked vs the room assignment, I was told no room’s available. Despite the fact that paid for a bigger bed. I can not recommend this place. I honestly think the hotels give lesser rooms to folks that booked through a third party company.

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Small older rooms with renovated bathrooms. We just used the rooms to sleep in and spent most of our time sightseeing. But when back we spent lots of time relaxing in the large and comfortable reception area.
