An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....

"The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it."

The bungalow was comfortable, spotless clean, comfortable bed and had everything you need.Couple of nice areas outside for sitting out.Would highly recommend it. Superb if visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park

"Loved our stay at this great hotel. OK maybe only of interest if you are visiting the Wildlife Park, but for that it's hard to beat. Checked the reviews and the only thing that kept coming up was the loudness of the extractor fan - we thought 'really'! But they are very loud! Staff were great, air-con silent and effective. Food a little limited, but clearly aimed at families and pretty much as we expected "
