"I showed up and they told me one of my rooms wasn't booked and the entire hotel was full. I had my confirmation right in front of me and kept telling her I had two confirmed booked rooms. She told me to call Expedia. After about 2 minutes of this and her manager does not answer the phone, me on the verge of tears thinking our trip was ruined, she simply said 'oh, I found it!'. This was after I'd called ahead to confirm payment stuff with them multiple times prior to arriving."

"We had a very peaceful stay. Definitely a better choice than staying in a hotel room! The adorable cabin was clean and had everything we needed... including a fire ring and a lake right off the back porch. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the campground history. They made us feel welcome before we even got to the property. Love the fact that it is far enough from city life to stargaze, yet close enough to make a quick trip to town for supplies when needed. We will be coming back to stay next time we come to Michigan, for sure! "

"Overall a very good stay, excellent communication with host. Corners on the shower are a bit loose and could use tightening to prevent disasters. Also piece of trim in bathroom of the master bedroom is not cut to size or fastened. Other than that perfect! Would recommend to anyone!"
