Older style lodging but perfect for an overnight stay. Lovely staff. Clean and cosy. Chinese restaurant available just outside our room.

We had a wonderful stay. It was safe, quiet and has a Chinese restaurant which we enjoyed! Best Chinese we have had in a while! Friendly and helpful! We loved the fact that there was parking instantly and a pool. Highly recommend and we would book again.

The beds are great. The room and bathroom is very clean. My very elderly mother had been hospitalised and I didn't know how long we would need the room. We ended up staying 3 nights and it wasn't a problem even though they were very busy. We have stayed here quite a few times now and it's our "go to" accommodation whenever we're in the area.

Maclin Lodge is such a cute place to stay! We loved it! Walls were a bit thin…could hear the pipes squealing every so often but room was comfortable and clean. Will be back!

Suprised I could smell tobacco smoke on the property given most hotels banned it on condition of staying. The lack was of a key return drop box at the reception entry wasted a considerable amount of time on departure.

Thankyou for your review. We have a key drop box just next to reception there is also a sign on the reception door with instructions of what to do when checking out when reception is closed. All of our rooms are non smoking however people are free to smoke outside anywhere accept with in 10 meters of the restaurant. Our friendly staff would have been more than happy to let you know how check out early if you asked. Alternatively as in most hotels you can just leave your card in the room.

Owner was rude after they made a mistake with booking ringing to blame me instead of just fixing the problem wanted to argue. Refused to take responsibility for their error No problems with actual motel for the price.

Just thought it was expensive compared to a hotel/motel stay but it is great place and no complaints.. would book directly next time as some guests had got cheaper rates..
