We warmly welcome up to 4 nature-loving guests to spend a wonderful time in our very charming and exclusive thatched-roof house with a garden spanning over 1,000 square metres, while making a very special contribution to the protection of nature. All proceeds from the rentals go towards the budget of the Dieter Mennekes Environmental Foundation. Enjoy Sylt’s wonderful nature and help save what you love so much.

This special holiday home captivates guests, on the one hand, with its whimsical yet high-quality furnishings, which skilfully preserve the old and cherished while combining them with sophisticated flair. On the other hand, the exceptionally quiet location and the breathtaking view of the Braderup Wadden Sea are priceless.
Spend dreamy hours in your cosy living room, where you can sit by the fireplace in winter and enjoy the unobstructed view of the sea. In this house, the motto “Appreciation instead of waste” is a top priority, and so the slightly separate kitchen area—in the spirit of sustainability—offers you a successful combination of high-quality fixtures and older kitchen appliances, making self-catering on holiday simply feel right.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with large built-in closets and the unparalleled opportunity to start your day with your very own sunrise. One bedroom features a double bed in a cosy alcove style. The bathroom was completely renovated in 2025 and offers the highest level of comfort.
The lower level is finished with oak floorboards and features a sauna, an additional bathroom, and a playroom with cosy seating, making the house ideal for holidays with children. The house is surrounded by a natural garden and offers you a perfect starting point for exploring the island’s incomparable natural beauty and its magic. Comfortable garden loungers and deck chairs are available so you can fully enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. You can also see the famous Kampen Lighthouse from the house and garden; it’s just a pleasant walk away.

The house is located on a quiet side street in Braderup, not far from the Wadden Sea. The nature reserve borders directly on your property, allowing you, among other things, to observe rare animals or even have them visit your garden.
Two parking spaces are available right on your property. There is a bus stop near your house, so you can easily leave your car behind and help protect the environment and the island.
