"Freundlicher und persönlicher Empfang und sehr nette Nachbarn. Bad Tabarz lädt zum Erkunden ein. Es sind viele Ausflugziele für Familien mit Kindern und Hund in nähren Umgebung vorhanden. In der Unterkunft findet man alles, was man braucht und der Wintergarten ist bei den richtigen Temperaturen wirklich super. Vorallem zum beobachten der Sterne, wenn es draußen noch kühler ist. "

"This second floor apartment was spotlessly clean. The owners were very helpful, the bed was quite comfortable and it is a very cozy little place. The balcony was semi-private. The WC was on the first floor but that did not pose a problem. This is a wonderful area."

"We did not had a vacacion,because when we arrived,the accomodacion was not availebel,whe drove hundreds of kilometers to enjoy our vacation for nothing.The following up was that the organisesion shout provided a hotel,the did that but it kosted me another 469 euro extra.kids crying,and I.was very angry,and I did not get my money back for the hotel,and the extra expessis I had to nake."

"Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage als Familie. Es war wunderbar ruhig. Die Terrasse lädt zum Entspannen ein. Leider hat das Sommerwetter gerade etwas Pause eingelegt, aber auch der große Tisch im Wohnzimmer bot Platz und Gemütlichkeit.Die Küche ist etwas eng und man muss sich viel bücken, aber anders war das in dem alten Haus vermutlich nicht machbar. "Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. A couple notes, not much English spoken here, or in town at all. People were extremely gracious and we didnt have any issues, but just be aware. Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access. We did not do this (our fault) and struggled to get ahold of the reception after hours with our US phones. Overall I would def stay here again if I was coming to the area."

"Very clean and safe hotel. Spacious room. Excellent shower. Booked as a solo traveller and for some reason received a (small/narrow) single person duvet on a double bed. Made sleeping very uncomfortable and cold. Hotel a la carte restaurant was closed, only a buffet available.... Was very poor quality food and also not cheap. "
