"The room itself is nice, but not fancy. The view, however, is spectacular and overlooks the golf course on one side, and a view of False Bay on the other. Right up from Penguin Beach, and about a mile from the main drag with all of the shops."

"The view from the terrace is exactly as pictured - the most attractive thing in an attractive rental. Mark, the host and owner, was very helpful and provided a lovely starter basket to get us going. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need. The funny “phone booth funicular” made access easy from the garage. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the neighbourhood, and the Point is just a scenic drive away. We would definitely stay again if we weren’t 13,000km away."

"The location is outstanding with a fabulous aspect to the pure white beach and mountains beyond. The staff were brilliant and the food was lovely. The only negative comment I would make would be that the property needs a little bit of TLC in the bathrooms - need updating / refurbishing which would then very much justify a 5 star rating."

"Home was very clean and in a great location in Kommetjie near the beach and within walking distance to the center of town. Wifi worked very well. Corné is a great host and we’d love to come back to this home again! "

"Regrettably the weather shrouded the mountain during this stay so unable to view the mountain. Nevertheless room was clean and comfortable, without too much noise. Ideal for this business trip. Only negative was the lack of service at breakfast. Waited in vain for more than 30 minutes for staff to take an order. "
