"The space itself was great. Just as described in the listing. The main reason I rated a 3 is the fact that the shower plumbing was not working. The first night it back up around my ankles. In the morning there was still water in the tub so I contacted the “guest services” information I was given (I believe it’s their local cleaner). The response I received was this was a known issue and they had hoped it would not happen during my stay. They attempted to find a plumber to fix it and were unable to do so. I stayed from Sunday to Wednesday and was not able to use the shower beyond the first night. Hopefully they fix the issue before they rent it again. "
Cozy 1920's Bungalow in Tacoma with Sauna, Wood Fireplace, Chef's Kitchen
10/10 Excellent
"Tate’s little bungalow was perfect for our trip. Beautifully remodeled and cozy. The kitchen definitely has everything you could possibly need. Great communication. The back door would not lock and he stayed in contact with us, though we didn’t get it fixed during our stay. The backyard is beautifully landscaped. I bet it’s beautiful in summer. My biggest suggestion is to add some hand rails on the front steps and porch. My husband has balance issues and I needed to help him up and down Also, the back decking is beautiful but needs another step down. We would definitely stay here again. "
"Not what I expected. This house is rented rooms. The kitchen, dining room, living room and bathrooms are shared. There was nothing in the description about this. We thought we would have two rooms. We got one. I would suggest messaging the host to let her know how many rooms you need. The host was quick in offering a blow up mattress in the shared area. My son ended up staying with family. The room was clean, quite and the memory foam bed was comfortable. The room had a small fridge and microwave. The host provides breakfast if needed and offered to do laundry. The location is excellent. It worked for what I needed. "
"Unique and fun property. The backyard is fenced but very wild and there are holes and gaps in the fence. If you are taking animals, they have to be supervised closely. Mine had to stay on leash. I would say the same about younger children. That said, It is still a great home and we enjoyed the quirkiness. We had everything we needed and there is a great washer & Dryer which is always a nice amenity. The hosts are great communicators and left a thoughtful note and snacks. I would definitely stay there again. "
