"We enjoyed the cabin. It's in a great location. The view of the lake is beautiful especially with the sun coming up or going down. It had everything we needed and I especially enjoyed fishing from the dock l.We used it as a base to explore a wide swath of Minnesota from visiting Duluth to exploring the Mississippi Headwaters. Northern Minnesota ranks with some of the best places we've visited. It has plenty of parks, wildlife and other activities. If you visit, make sure you stop at S&S meats. We grilled some of the best steaks we've ever had."

"The staff was more than accommodating to check us in early and get our room ready for our visit. What we really appreciated about the room was that, for a double bed, it was in a separate room than the bathroom and living area. This allowed one of us to stay up late to watch tv while the other went to bed...and the early riser not to disturb the later riser with early morning wake ups. Not many hotels/motels offer this opportunity...and we were grateful for it!"

"This location was perfect for my family's trip. The property is absolutely beautiful off the lake, and it was wonderful to see the beginning of the fall foliage. The house met our family's needs during our stay and had practically everything we needed. The cleanliness and comfort of the house was terrific, everything organized and well kept. Communication with the host was outstanding, quick responses prior to and during our stay. We were glad to know support was just a message away if we needed it. Thank you Maria and team! This location is near Grand Rapids and provided a lot for the family to do with sightseeing and shopping. Excellent stay, I would highly recommend."

"Home was perfect for our family’s stay. Love the open floor plan. Home was clean and has a great island with seating in the kitchen. Nice 5-burner gas range for cooking and great kitchen layout. Beds were comfortable too which is a bonus. We didn’t get a chance to use the lake because we were in town for a wedding, but it’s super close to the boat landing and located on a great part of the lake so during the summer months would be the perfect get away if you’re looking to spend time on the water. Also has a cute area for a bon fire. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to others."
