"Tahoe is a special place and this cabin was great for a group of friends enjoying a long weekend. With a little maintenance, this place would have received 5 stars. The carpeted areas are heavily stained, a lampshade was missing in one of the upstairs bedrooms, the drawers in the downstairs bedroom wouldn't open, the front of the cabin has some damage, some bushes in the front yard need to be trimmed so one of the walkways is more accessible. "Beware. potential guests...Tahoma Lodge has been closed for 2 years, yet it's website still remains up and booking rooms . They are still advertising on Expedia and other online rental sites.When I arrived at the lodge for my 3 night stay, I found the entire facility closed and boarded up, swimming pool emptied, no one on site to speak to. I was told by Lake Tahoe locals near Tahoma that it was a scam. DO NOT attempt to reserve a room at this place. No longer exists. This is fraud!!"
