Located in an extremely convenient area, close to many great restaurants and extremely walkable to places of interest. Service is impeccable. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful during our weeklong stay here. Daily housekeeping was also completed to high standards while we were away. The daily breakfast was good, variety was slightly small and most of the main dishes were repeated daily like the porridge, buns, fruits, cereals and bakery items. No complaints there though. FYI, the rooms are huge. Overall this was a good place to stay and I’d highly recommend choosing this location when visiting Taichung.

Not a good value! Stayed three night at this hotel. This dated hotel has no personal characteristic of a Hotel, more like a convention center that have large plain rooms. Pros:good location, large room, attentive staff Cons: Poor breakfast, if you need a western style food, you will find almost nothing to eat. Musty/stale smell in room. Old discolored carpet with stains. We had to move rooms on first night due to water from shower entering the room's carpet. On second day they fumigate our room WHILE WE HAD ALL OUR CLOTHS AND SOME OPEN SNACKS SPREAD OUT. We did not want to cause a scene, however, since the fumigation we experienced throat irritation. I was telling the front desk that fumigate an occupied room can be hazardous. They just replied "sorry, sorry ".

The room was big and clean, and the service was excellent. There are a couple of big departmental stores within walking distance. It is also convenient to take public buses to night markets and train station.

TOP recommended hotel in Taichung
One of the best hotels you can stay in the taichung area. Has a Shopping mall (Sogo) beside the hotel, on the ground floor there is also Watsons, 7-11 and family mart for any of your needs. Room is comfortable

Breakfast was simple but good enough and is include in the room cost. Room is huge with massive toilet. Location is next to Sogo and near to other shopping centre and easy access the rest of Taichung via bus near the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel only occupy 3 floor in the building.

The staff are very service oriented in providing solutions to me without any judgement. I am also grateful that they upgrade the room to me. The location is near TRA but night market a bit further but then got a few buses there. Shopping is nearby.

Big spacious room
Upgraded to family room at check in with fee, hence my review is for family room with 2 double beds. Everything is good except that the place is to big... The distance from lift to room is very long and the laundry room is almost 1km from the lift... With only 2 pathetic plastic chairs for those waiting for their laundry. This should be improved, given that the ample space is available. Reception has been helpful in getting taxi and assisting with other enquires. There's 2 convenience stores and 1 Watson next doorz so it's super convenient.

Convenient location next to Sogo. Many dining options available nearby! Many coffee shops and bars as well. I would stay again. The check in was fast and convenient.

Cleaning staff super helpful! One thing though, smoking seems to be prohibited, but still caught the odor coming through the walls.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and shower facility. However the hotel appears a bit dated, especially its carpet, which probably need to be replaced soon. Also, breakfast room was like a mad house in the morning, with so many guests packed in a relatively small area.

Tasty breakfast buffet with a good variety, snacks and water available. Very friendly, accommodating and responsive staff. Parking included in secure underground lot with entrance at back of hotel. Limited hotel only parking area allows you to keep your car there until 1430 after checkout for free. Can park in other areas but then limited to free parking until 1200 on date of checkout

Convenient, clean, spacious
The power outlets are a little bit loose for regular Taiwanese plug, therefore, we have to use some stuff like mug to make it stable. Besides that, everything is great. Especially, the location is wonderful.
