CityInn Hotel Plus East in Taichung is excellent. The staff are kind and helpful. The lobby and main floor has plenty of seating areas to relax, check your smartphones, and hang out after a long day. The breakfast buffet is superb. Lots of good choices and the food is delicious. The breakfast seating and service area is very nice and pleasing.

A very nice boutique hotel right near the local Taichung railway station (not the high speed station!). Nice staff and clean rooms. Great buffet breakfast (we loved the abalone salad).

Fantastic hotel a short walk from the main train station. The staff are very nice and accommodating and there’s a free drink station providing ice tea and coffee. The rooms are nice and modern; a bit small but we could open two large suit cases on either side of the bed. I would definitely stay again.
