Wonderful experience. Clean and comfort room. Bonus point: The hotel offered paid guided walking tour visiting local artisans. Really enjoyed visiting and chatting with the artisans with many being the 3rd or 4th generation running the business. They also offer paid class on how to make a local traditional pastry - puffed brown sugar pastry. I really enjoyed my stay. Tainan is a charming city. I will be back.

The location was amazing. Everything was walkable, such as Asakusa Shopping, Hayashi dept, etc. I could easily get a Uber to drop me off to night markets as well. Staffs were very helpful and kind. They provide water and sparkling during our stay.

Extremely helpful and kind front desk, always willing to help- even for the most silly ask. The dormitory room and shared bathrooms/toilets were very clean - (albeit a tad small for Westerners) - functional design. Rustic bed cubicle (OSB) with chic privacy curtain. Shared spaces have cool vibes - functional and welcoming. A LOT of places to eat within 1-2 blocks. Great place to stay!! Highly recommend. Would come again.

Unique property, as advertised. Chill atmosphere. Very accommodating, from the style and comfort of the rooms to n simple amenities, shower, soaps, etc. While there is a language issue for non Chinese speakers, staff go out of their way to compensate with translation apps. No real problems. There was noise one night, but we were able to switch roomd, and the test of our stay was fine. Location was perfect. Lots of cultural and culinary sites. Highly recommended.
