"Everything was great and would definitely stay again. Hours of local restaurants were not optimal for us so check ahead and see if it works for you. Front desk staff was helpful and it’s close to so many caves and bushwalks. "
"Loved the stylings - catholic collection of cutlery, bedding, and stuff in the bach. Nice and old school (pun intended!). Had everything you could need. The fire was great, homely, warming. We loved getting away from it all in Awakino. Just enough to do and not to do. The view / location was ataahua. Beautiful place in the world. Thank you for sharing this place. "

"We stayed here for just one night on our way to Taupo, but honestly, we wish we had stayed longer! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The view was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and calming.It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the space welcoming and well-equipped. We really appreciated the quiet surroundings.This was the perfect stopover, and we’ll definitely be booking again next time for more than just one night!"
