"This is a nice upper scale hotel of the traditional era. The decor is very peaceful and the staff are very kind. I wish the water pressure for making a bath was better. It takes a long time to prepare a bath, but it is nice to have bath salts supplied by the hotel. Also, the AC fan is very loud and the room had too much humidity. The breakfast had many options and the food was tastly. However, you cannot order a raw egg for your rice (or nato). There is also no 'easy over' option when ordering eggs. So, preparation of the eggs with a soft yolk was always a hit or miss! In all, I think the value is good and the hotel is conveniently located next to the TPE main station."

"I stayed at Aloft for 3 nights. Overall, the experience was decent but with a few drawbacks. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s rest. However, I was assigned a room facing the road, which made it quite noisy at night. I woke up several times due to the traffic, so light sleepers may want to request a quieter room. Breakfast was fairly average. While the menu changed daily, the selection was limited and the taste was just okay. On a positive note, the service was responsive — on my last night, I requested a memory foam pillow and they were able to provide it, which I appreciated. Overall, it’s a reasonable stay for short trips, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of noise insulation and breakfast quality."
