"We started our NZ vacation here after landing in Christchurch and it was the perfect start. The pub served wonderful appetizers and desserts. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay--great for settling in and relaxation. The pool was cooler than I hoped. Breakfast is self-serve with limited but thoughtful options. Sharing facilities wasn't a problem, but there weren't many other guests during our stay. Staff was warmly welcoming and very accommodating. "

"Leaving a review as this place doesn’t have many! This was a beautiful home- quite warm and cozy. The views and deck are out of this world. Beds and couches were comfy. Loved the birds and views. There is a little path you can walk too that takes you to the waterfront.The grill wasn’t clean and there were some odd stains in the rooms on the walls- but overall we were really happy. It was a lovely accomodation for a pretty reasonable price too. Would stay again! "
