"Basic hotel catering for workers from elsewhere. You can eat dinner in the same place as breakfast which is useful as the nearby supermarket closes on Wednesday. Helpful staff. Has lift o second storey in main building. Nice shared bath with no lockers."
"Fabulous hotel with very clean tatami room with western style beds
View over the bay was wonderful during sunrise
The evening meal was delicious featuring a whole abalone
The onsen has a beautiful view of the bay. Very well stocked shop named after Queen Elizabeth. Very helpful staff arranged pickup from Rikuzen Togura station, safely stowed my luggage while I hiked to the visitor centre and arranged my free shuttle bus to Sendai
Great breakfast. Hotel is top class."
"Staff very helpful
Excellent breakfasts in the restaurant which has scheduled closures once a week
The room lacked a functioning main light which was fine for me but might be a problem for others
Nearby store plays music at closing and opening times 6 am and 6pm.which can be a little disconcerting
I liked the welcome coffee machine which actually produced good coffee
There are quite a few restaurants nearby in this very safe area. Unfortunately due to the damage from the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and fire
There are a number of vacant lots but despite being a little eerie I experienced no trouble at all."
"Great breakfast always freshly cooked and a good variety of dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful gave me an early check in and stored my luggage before I moved to next hotel allowing me to do a short day hike on the michinoku trail. The only nearby convenience store is in Kesennuma station. There is a great katsu place on the station courtyard. Please order a proper meal there and pay cash. If you are in a group make a reservation as it gets quite crowded."
"We had a wonderful experience! The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well managed. We truly appreciated the great hospitality and attention to detail. I would definitely love to come back and visit again! Highly recommended! 😊"
"The property is right on the beach and the rooms have a beautiful view. They have a nice hot bath for men and women. The food is amazing and the presentation of the food is also wonderful. Wonderful customer service. Be aware their English in this area of Japan is not the best."
