"I had a wonderful stay at this charming classic bach in Surfdale. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the peaceful setting offered stunning views across the beach toward Auckland. There’s a fantastic takeaway coffee spot at the end of the path beside the house, and the local shops are less than a minute away. I would definitely stay here again."

"This holiday bach totally lived up to the advert. Stunning views of the sea and wonderful bird watching. It was so relaxing and hard to leave. Chris called and helped us settle in, which was nice. Everything was easy. We were grateful to find a place that welcomed dogs. Thanks to the hosts!"

"My husband and I stayed at Mawhiti for our 16th Anniversary. It is a very nice property located in a secluded affluent area with incredible views. We drove into town on our first day to purchase items for light continental breakfasts, but enjoyed most meals out while exploring the island. We were very impressed with the quality of the food that was available in the local grocery stores. . especially the produce and dairy products!Back to the property . . .The layout of the home is very nice. Each bedroom has a beautiful view from the main area and in the bathrooms! We appreciated the comfort of the beds and the luxury bedding. We want to mention that the property is advertised as having Air Conditioning, but this is not true. The house did get very warm during the day and we were there during a mild summer month. There are no ceiling fans, so we had to keep the doors and sliders open to capture a breeze. There are small Dyson floor fans in each bedroom, but they just didn't cool the rooms down enough for us, making sleeping a bit uncomfortable.Overall, I would say, if you're considering this property, don't hesitate! It is a lovely place to relax. We would book again when visiting Waiheke. "
