"I had to change room twice : AC was not working upon check-in. Second room had some clicking noise which I bothered me. It became more obvious late at night so staff couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Door lock and my safe had battery issue. I had to call front office for those occasions. Other than these issues, staff were very polite and helpful. I highly recommend a bike tour run by the hotel. It was a great way to see surroundings while staying active. The tour itself was informative and beautiful."

"We went as newly married for honeymoon. Such an amazing place, on the beach. Plenty of areas to relax in, the rooms are luxurious and super clean. Staff went above and beyond with cleaning and making the room special for birthdays. We did the kissing booth private dinner and Thai cooking class which comes with a private chef and waiter. Totally amazing. Shoutout to Wallie who was our waiter. He went above and beyond. Highly recommend"

"We stayed at the sands for 7 nights and could not fault it. The property is clean and it was always being maintained without it impacting our stay. The housekeeping service was great and they did a wonderful job. The buffet breakfast had lots of variety of food to choose from and parts of it was different everyday which was great. We mainly stayed at the family friendly pool with the slides and lazy river and our kids loved the variety of things to do. It did get a lot busier after our first couple of days however there was still enough space for everyone. The cocktails at the bar were great and reasonably priced. The lunch time menu was delicious and convenient if you wanted to spend the day by the pool. We had outside massages by the beach and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We have been recommending the sands to all of our friends since returning and we cannot wait to go back ourselves."

"The Waters Khao Lak located close to the beach (5 min walk) the Bang Nang markets (under 5 min walk) and many small stalls. The pool access room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful week there and would stay again in the future."
