"This property is very close to the Temple of Diana and a short walk to the other Roman antiquity sites, dining and the Roman bridge. Our room was tired and not as clean as it should be. The lights were unstable and the shower mechanisms are faulty. The biggest negative was the smell. When we arrived the room smelled of bleach but on each return from a day out the room smelled like a sewer. We couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from and had to leave the windows open to freshen the air. Be prepared for parking anxiety if arriving or leaving at a busy time. There are two small spots located around a tight corner for luggage pickup and drop off on a very busy narrow street. The staff does not help with luggage. Overall a great location but as far as condition and value for money it does not hit the mark."

As the room was already available they allowed her to check-in early, and turned a horrible day into a great one. The hotel is conveniently located in Badajoz and you can get to the historic center with a 10 minute walk. The breakfast at this hotel is spectacular. It was practically the best one we had in Portugal and Spain. Highly recommended."
