Silver Birch has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and is nestled in a private birch grove. The edge of the Alaskan wilderness is right at your doorstep. Large view windows and a timber frame wrap around porch enhance your experience, allowing you to enjoy Alaska even on your days in. A charming fireplace in the living room creates a cozy space to gather, and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and spacious dining room provide all the comforts of home. Conveniently located with just a short 10 mile drive to Talkeetna and only 3 miles to the grocery store. Halfway between Anchorage and Denali National Park (about 2 hours drive to either destination), you'll have central access to the area's attractions and activities.

The house was so good for our group of family and friends. Beautiful and comfortable house, lovely location, peaceful. Really great amenities. We wished we were staying more than one night-will definitely stay here again!

Awesome!

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. It is a well decorated, well equipped, well cared for home that has a very cozy feel to it. It had absolutely everything we needed for our 3 generation stay of 7 people. We ate at the nearby Denali Brewing one night where they happened to have live entertainment and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wonderful home with great access

This home was close to Talkeetna but also convenient for breaking up the drive between Denali and Anchorage. We were accommodated when we asked for a slightly earlier check in even though we ended up not coming until the original check in time.

Great in every way!

Visiting from Michigan my wife and I stayed here with my daughter and son-in-law from Anchorage. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. It was also well stocked.The setting in the woods was tranquil, and it wasn't far from Talkeetna. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

Great place and location!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our needs were met with a well-equipped kitchen, and beds were comfy. You can't beat the location--nestled among the trees. It was nice to be out of town but not too far from everything.

Loved this home

Lovely, well maintained home. Everything in the home is new and clean. A 10 minute drive to Talkeetna, but very close to Denali Brewing - our favorite hangout. Would definitely stay here again - great house!

This home was just what we hoped for, and the listing was accurate. Nice furniture, good stock of essentials and nice-to-haves (toiletries, outdoor bug coils, coffee, tea, and even some baking goods) . We saw moose cross the road right in front of the house! Don't forget bug spray if you stay here! I would definitely stay here again.

This home is beautiful. It is at the end of a road and feels secluded! It is even better than the photos. The property was clean, and simple. Tastefully decorated. Everything was needed was in the home. We would definitely stay again!!

The property was clean, well-designed and on a private road. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed inside and out. Check in process was flawless. Location was excellent for our needs, and we loved the fire pit. The property does back up to Talkeetna Spur, but we didn’t hear the road noise at all from inside the home. We would definitely stay there again!

All the Comfort of Home and then some....

First of all - this is a beautiful property - nestled on a very quiet street not too far from downtown Talkeetna (which is charming). Close to hiking trails, the lake and several float plane operators. Not too far to travel if you want to view Denali - however, it was a hike to the actual park. Word to the wise, make sure you fuel up here before heading down the Parkway to the Park Entrance (it's nearly 90 miles without a fueling station). Back to the house - it was comfortable, clean, with everything you need. We came in at the end of season so most of the local restaurants were closed already. My spouse is a chef - so I prefer to eat at home - grocery store is around the corner and we had everything there we needed. Property and host were fantastic.
