"Vindolanda is a stylish crofters cottage that has been thoughtfully and comfortably renovated. It is well equipped and has everything you need. We loved that each room has a fantastic view over the loch and the mountains. Also, it is great for two couples as it has two similar sized stylish bedrooms. The bathroom has a super shower and bath. We appreciated all the small touches that made this a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Mark supplied lots of information beforehand and was also...

"Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)"
