Location is very comfortable. Furniture is pretty old, but overall clean. Unfortunately breakfast moved from the restaurant to the cellar, and lost in optic and also quality.

Poor bedding and no heating!

The first room bedding was horrible, with springs coming out of the mattress. Thankfully, I was offered a new room with better bedding. Unfortunately, the heating in the second room did not work, even on Maximum, the room was very cold. Overall the hotel needs definitely renovation inside the building. Otherwise, location and price are great.

Two nights in the two room suite. The room was nice and I liked that there was a mini fridge instead of a mini bar. The spa bath tub was a pleasant experience. Noise from the street was occasional but not disturbing - we were there from Tuesday to Thursday, so things can be different on a weekend as there is a karaoke bar right across the street. The location in the old town is good and the staff were efficient and friendly. WiFi worked flawlessly.

Good value for the money

Nice, hasslefree and welcoming reception. Overall a good value for the money. Only shortcoming was the coffee at the breakfast. The coffee machine didn’t work properly but things happens sometimes.

Very basic and old hotel in need of renovations

On checking in my bed had stain all over it the receptionist was pleasant and immediately changed my room. Room was very cold called reception who said she was going to get them turn the heating on which happened but room never warmed up. The only pros was the location

The location of this property is awesome! It is literally a few steps from Viru Gate as you enter the Old Town, which is perfect for tourists. It has lots of cafes and restaurants as soon as you walk out of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The room was very large and clean. The only thing I would want other guests to know is if you are staying here over the weekend, then it will be loud. There are lots of restaurants and bars downstairs that are open until 5am in the morning, so bring your earplugs! Other than that this hotel is excellent, and I would hands down stay here again when I come back to Tallinn!

The downstairs and lobby were quite nice, but the rooms were a disappointment, quite sparse. But they were clean and otherwise adequate. In fairness the cost was on the low side, so perhaps my expectations were too high, but I chose in part because of the photos in your listing

The room was fine BUT as soon as we got into bed the nightclub 5m away across the passage started with EXTREMELY loud music and went on until about 6 AM. Couldn't get a wink of sleep. Swelteringly hot with windows closed (and still noisy), unbearable with them open because of the noise. Night staff very unhelpful when another guest asked for a room change, it didn't happen. Make sure you see your room before accepting it.

The hotel is very average, the breakfast is really nothing exceptional, but all that is not the most important. At 4 p.m. your room is still not made, by disrespectful cleaning ladies. I have never seen such unbearable staff, you always seem to bother them, and the Russian girls at the reception are super aggressive (one of them even insulted me because I asked her to not cleaning my room but just giving me a new towel). NEVER AGAIN will I set foot in this hotel which has not understood that the most important thing is respect for customers!

Nightmare

Perfect location in the Old Town. Gives an impression of being "outdated and worn". No smiling staff! I was given a room on the 4th floor, with a view to another building in the same complex very close with distance maximum 4 metres. When, after dinner and a walk around the Old Town, I returned to the room. It then turned out that in the building I had a view of, there was a nightclub/bar with a terrace, also on the 4th floor. I had full access to the party! There was a full party and very loud music. This continued throughout the night. Absolutely hopeless! On my request at reception the following morning, if this really wasn't something I should have been informed about? Was the answer, "at the risk of you taking me as rude, I would ask you to read the description of the hotel better! This is Tallinn, a party city, and especially here in the Old Town, and then there is music and parties" I have read through the description given on Rixwell's website of the hotel. There is nothing to indicate that here you must be set on sleeping to pounding high bass, and an outdoor party on the terrace of the building 4 meters away. I cannot recommend this hotel and will naturally never stay there again

This was a very nice hotel with attentive staff. It is located within the old town so there was so much that was very close--including just outside of old town. The only downside was my window faced a sort of back ally that was secured for use of the hotel and restaurant only (no stragglers used it). Sadly there were times I would have my windows open and have to shut them because of someone smoking stinky cigarettes below. Other than that--it was a perfect stay there.

The bed was well past it's best before date and the noise from the nightclub was so loud we couldn't sleep. Our previous stay out room faces the parking lot and it was a great stay. The room was great too for that stay.
