Here, a sleek state-of-the-art kitchen flows effortlessly into the open-plan dining and lounge space, which spills onto a wraparound patio. On the eastern shores of Lake Annecy, Talloires is a picture-postcard village where alpine charm meets lakeside elegance. Stroll through the village’s historic centre, where traditional Savoyard buildings house inviting cafés, shops and restaurants. Don’t miss the delightful Thursday morning market in the summer months, a lovely way to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, cured meat, olive oil, honey and wine.
Plage de Talloires (2.5km) is perfect for swimming or sunbathing and picnics on the grass, while the surrounding lakeside becomes a lively hub for summer paddleboarding, kayaking and sailing. A little further south, the beautiful Plage d’Angon (4.5km) lies just along the shoreline, a peaceful spot to enjoy a picnic or a refreshing swim. Do note that many lakeside beaches charge entry fees in the summer.

The elevated location provided impressive and ever changing views. Having lots of different outdoors spaces to enjoy was really lovely. All in all a wonderful place to stay and the air conditioning on the main floor was appreciated in the high temperatures we experienced.
Wunderschönes Haus mit traumhafter Aussicht, tollem Pool und guter Ausstattung
Sehr gut ausgestattete, neue Küche, geräumige Zimmer, offener Wohn- Essbereich, hilfreiches „Handbuch“ mit Informationen zum Haus, der Umgebung und möglichen Aktivitäten. Der Pool ist fantastisch, sehr sauber auch ohne Chlor und sehr groß. Im Sommer ist die Gegend wohl in den letzten Jahren von Touristen sehr gut besucht und es ist recht „voll“. Leider führt nahe am Haus die Hauptstraße in die Berge vorbei, die dann oft befahren ist, das hört man auf der Terrasse oder bei offenen Fenstern.
