"Lovely spot. Check in was super easy. Kitchen wares are a bit limited, and pots and pans are scratched Teflon. Not too big of a deal for us, since we brought what we needed as we were camping earlier in our trip. Full size fridge and microwave. Kettle was pretty rusty inside, so we boiled water in a pan we brought. Shower was a bit difficult to fine tune for temperature, tho once dialed in plenty of hot water and worked fine. Shower head itself left something to be desired, but water pressure was not bad at all. Rooms have thin walls, could hear our neighbors conversations fairly easily, and they probably could hear ours. Fine since we weren't home much. The room stayed warm didn't need to turn on the heat, there was a wood burning stove and wood readily available but we did not use it (early September). On a couple of occasions noticed slight gas smell from heater; did not seem to be out of order, pilot light was on, just a fact of those old room heaters. Great place to bring the dog along. Would definitely stay again, it was great value and perfect location."

"I stayed in early fall as a base for hiking and biking in the infinite trails near mammoth or the Owens Valley. Fabulous time of year to visit. Very nice place to stay on the quiet edge of town (which I preferred) but very easy to get to trails, groceries, restaurants, etc. Unit was in good condition with a nice view during my morning cup of brew. Only wrinkle I had was that owner’s instruction email on getting in went to my spam, which I had no way of knowing had happened. VRBO app delayed me in getting through to the owner to sort this out. As soon as I spoke directly to owner, she quickly and clearly talked me through getting in"

"Can wait to rent the property again. Property was fabulous. Beds were 1st class, kitches was perfect, common areas were great for our big family. Communication and our check in w nomadness was great. Looking forward to renting again, hopefully during ski season :)"
