The drive in does this place no justice. Once reaching the hotel it is absolutely beautiful, overlooking Tamarindo and the ocean. The infinity views are unbelievable as are the suites. There is an airbnb feel to it because of how private the suites are, feels like a retreat or a private getaway, and the staff is ready to serve at every opportunity. Carlos was awesome, he gave us a seamless check in experience and the dinner was delicious! Hard to say what the best part of this stay was but Virginia was amazing as well. Excellent with our breakfast orders - fresh fruit and juice daily with the best jam ever, excellent pool service, and Marta and Helen gave the best massages and facials of our lives. 100% recommend every part of this stay - suite, breakfast, dinner, massages, pool - and would stay again.

Gorgeous hotel

We had a wonderful stay. Easy drive into town, beautiful room and pool. The highlight was the incredible food. The chef was excellent and we were able to take a cooking class from him!

The staff was amazing and the resort is beautiful and spotless! Great breakfast… would love to see more muffins and croissants offered. Dinner options are very European, and elegantly presented. Would recommend going into Tamarindo for dinner/lunch options as well! LaGosta Beach Club is a must for a beach day!

Super relaxing and quiet stay- great views!

Lovely small, privat and quiet hotel. This hotel is for you if you prefer a bit more remote retreat with the chance to go into Tamarindo and on the beach for bits of your stay and otherwise prefer secluded and quiet with a fabulous view. That’s what we were looking for and we definitely found it here. Super relaxing! Delicious food and lovely owners and staff including resort dog Charlie ❤️

Location is nice and secluded from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo but still only a few minutes away. Ideal for both my wife and myself as resort was extremely peaceful and set back in the forest/jungle. Howler monkeys make a great alarm clock!!

This was a perfect find. If you’re looking for peace & quiet this is the place. There are 8 treehouse like huts that offer privacy & are spaced out. If you love nature and seek privacy & to be away from the crowds then look no further! It’s close enough to town, so when you do venture out, you wont need to drive far. I recommend exploring the area & beyond. To do so without a worry you will need a 4x4. The owners are very nice & are happy to accommodate in any way. We will definitely be returning when we come back to the

I cant say enough about this place, we only stayed for one night at the end of a week long trip all over Costa Rica, this place is a paradise. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The property is in immaculate shape inside and out, the yard and pool are kept clean, the room was spotless. You get what you pay for is very true, its a little more expensive than others in the area, but the privacy, the beauty, the comfort, and the service are well worth the price.

Staff was phenomenal! After some travel difficulties they waited for me and my wife to arrive the night we flew in. Their recommendations for places to see were always spot on. Charlie was the number one staff member!! Carlos and Virginia were always happy to answer questions and let us know about different areas to visit. Will definitely be going back when we travel to Costa Rica again.

The property is uniquely and beautifully designed. The staffs are super helpful and friendly. Wish the roads leading to the property from town center was walkable. More food options at the property would have been even better. Would have liked a hammock at the room balcony. Overall loved my stay and would definitely return again.

This beautiful property is located in the hills above Tamarindo with an amazing view of the ocean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The guest accommodations are modern, spacious and private. We loved listening to the birds and the Howler monkeys and just enjoying the awesome view from our room. Relaxing poolside and cooling off in the infinity pool was a treat. Peaceful, quiet, elegant...Pacific Kalokairi is a sanctuary in this area. Highly recommended!

The owners are wonderful and always available to make sure you’re comfortable. They get to understand the nuances of each guest, truly wanting you to have a memorable and beautiful stay. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms completely private and the array of things to do outstanding. My partner and I walked into town each morning, which was magical. We cannot wait to return. Everything was great! Pura vida!
