I have stayed at town and country before and it was very clean. However, this time wasn't as clean, the shower needed a good scrub and the mirrors were dirty. I would have liked to give a higher score.

OK. But could be much better for little outlay.

Old decor but clean. Pillows were woeful. Otherwise the bed was good. Good size TV and comfortable couch. Small table and two chairs in the room were very useful. Shower head needs replacing and Air Conditioner needs servicing.

Run down and 3 x overpriced for a long weekend, I wouldn’t pay the usual rate either. Bedding was clean but that’s all going for it. Previous reviewers must have stayed in very average places to give the 4 star rating. Very very basic, shower could do with some repair or upgrade. Noisy 30 year old air conditioner. Cheap coffee, tea and handwash. Appears new owners taken over, perhaps it will improve but I wouldn’t stay again to find out.

Extremely wet floor. We thought it was the shower but as it was still wet when we left I believe there was a bigger issue. Perhaps septic toilet overflow. 2 small child it was unsafe, slippery and dangerous. Beds clean but room dusty and previous visitors dinner filled the fridge. Nice staff

We were early for our room but were given another one straight away by the very friendly manager. The bed was very comfortable and had an electric blanket on it - very welcome in Tamworth. Needed some maintenance -but everything was clean and neat.
