Good choice for the price!
I was pleased at the room we got for the price we paid. The arrival experience was good (although the staff spoke only Spanish - google translate helped) and the hotel allowed us to check into our room early (normal check-in at 2 pm - we got to go in around 10 am). Food at the restaurant at the hotel wasn't particularly good, but there are plenty of good options around. Overall, had a good experience. Definitely recommended!

Top sheet on the bed very dirty and stinky
What was disgusting was that the top sheet of the bed linens had a very bad odour different persons using it, obviously has not been washed. You will never recommend a hotel which tries to save money recycling linens. It's terrible. We threw it on the floor. The king size bed was too big for the room. Bathroom was very small. No breakfast included for the price. The exterior and the lobby of the hotel was nice and the restaurant served good meals. The location was very good, two blocks from parque central.

Fast attention, the zone are popular. When I need take a breakfast not need walk mere than 100 meters for find a good restaurants.

A hotel offering a wonderful experience.
We were wonderfully surprised at the quality and comfort of this hotel at an unbelievable rate. The gardens and facility at the hotel was delightful with a decor of warmth and authenticity. The staff, although very limited in speaking English, was helpful, pleasant and very friendly. One evening when we returned to our room a few minutes later a bellhop arrived at our door and offered a sweet snack to occupants. We appreciated the personal care offered by the staff. Associated with the hotel is a wonderful restaurant, Hostal Delrey, with first class food, impeccable service at prices not available in the U.S. The waiter spoke English and provided menu suggestions that were astounding. I am planning to visit Tapachula again for the pleasant location and memorable experience. Hotel Fe'nix will be our lodging selection.

Good choice for Tapachula
Good choice for Tapachula. Stayed only one night but was impressed with the beauty of the grounds and landscaping, the cleanliness of the room, and the attention to detail within it - all for a reasonable price.

Excelente lugar colonial todos los servicios céntrico y el personal muy a gusto sólo un pequeño problema en el momento del pago con tarjeta American express pero luego se solucionó excelente lugar clima privilegiado santuario de los migrantes viva México
