"We really enjoyed our stay at Sipukka. The place is as described, very homely and well equipped for a stay in the quiet, fresh air of Lapland. We took advantage of the saunas combined with dips in the lake, did yoga on the dock, used the boat with an electric engine for picnics on the lake and took strolls in the forests around to look for the many reindeer. They sometimes come for a visit to the property, too. It was super-relaxing and exactly as we hoped it would be."

The peace and silence were wonderful, and the view over the frozen lake was breathtaking every single day. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights almost daily – an unforgettable experience. Ice fishing on the lake was a fun extra activity, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The caretakers of the cottage are warm, friendly people and were a"

Top Tapionkylä Hotel Reviews

Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos

Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos

10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed staying in the igloo. Staff very helpful. Used a great local taxi (arranged by reception) to get around as uber declined to pick us up. There’s not much to do in the immediate vicinity but easy to get to Santa village and town centre. We stayed when there was no snow and snow hotel was not built, so will return in the snowy season to see it."
