Fern Valley Cabin - Native Bush Retreat in Otaki Gorge
- Our private cabin is tucked away in the Otaki Gorge and looks over the Otaki river. You require a 4WD SUV (eg Toyota RAV4 ) no 2WDs are acceptable. From the carpark on Otaki Gorge Road is a 1km drive or walk on a private 4wd track and bridge crossing the Otaki river to the cabin. A perfect getaway for couples. There are plenty of bushwalks and river activities on your doorstep. Or simply relax to the sound of native birdsong.
The cabin is off grid and totally relies on solar power ,it features an open plan kitchen and lounge which opens up to the large deck with views over the river. There is one queen bedroom and a bunk bedroom which sleeps 2. You can step outside to a BBQ area and outdoor bathtub.There is limited cell phone coverage for Spark and 2degrees customers.
