"This home is just as beautiful as the pictures. Inside and outside. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing from the inside view or outside in the pool or deck. Rooms were clean. Only thing to be aware of are geckos which are common in the country all around. They sometimes slip in the home and may alarm you but are harmless and disappear. It’s a little challenging to find the property on some gps so we used the wipeout hostel as our guide to the entrance road. Overall great stay!"

"We loved staying at Hilltop House!! Our group was a family of 6 including 2 grandparents and 2 kids (10-13 years). The house was great!! We loved the pool and hanging out in the “eagles nest” to enjoy the view and animals (several bird nests on the property, iguanas, macaws flying to/from the beach, and even a cane toad) The beach (we drove due to the steep hill) was very close (no issues parking) and great for boogie boarding, jumping waves, tide pools and seeing scarlet macaws (10+ daily). "We loved the location of this property. Located on a less busy part of the beach. House was clean and we loved the gated community and 24 hour security. It was very easy to communicate with the property owners. The community pool was very nice. We would definitely stay again!"

As can happen, the power went out one night for a bit, but they had candles already there so we swam in the pool by candlight, which isn't a bad way to spend an evening."

"We had a great stay at Villa Cocosol. The house was in a great location close to Emanuel Antonio, zip lining, monkey mangroves and hiking/waterfalls. The house, grounds, pool and beach were great. There were red macaws in the trees outside the house. The caretakers were very helpful that lived on the property. They addressed any needs we had. The owner was also very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."
