"A one night stay worked well for us when you don’t need to stay in Tarifa’s historical the old town. Checkin was smooth. Bu we were startled at checkout when the receptionist told us we haven’t paid without even checking records, which was unfriendly if not rude."

gorgeous beach close by but hotel nothing special.
"After booking I received an email stating that I needed to check I by 17:30 otherwise there was an extra 20€ charge. I specifically made sure I was booking a room with a microwave, but when checking in the receptionist said twin rooms don't have kitchen, I had to show her the description on hotels.com ..."

20 Oct 2019Tarifa is a nice quiet town with pleasant people. It was very windy the week I visited and ideal for kite surfers. Although Tarifa is a nice place there isn’t an awful lot to do. Whale watching possible but cancelled due to wind.

3 Jun 2019Very weather dependant. We went for the boat trip to see dolphins and whales but the weather was to windy for the boats to go out. Not a lot else to do if you don't have a car.
