BIG DOGS Homestay

  • The cabin is rustic, small but cosy with views to die for. We run a homestay for BIG dogs - all screened lovely fur babes whose owners are travelling like you. You need to be comfortable with dogs around - in fact you are welcome to bring your own! The river is a short walk away. There is 4.8 hectares for you to explore or drive to many vineyards/hiking tracks close by, and only 20km from Wanaka.

Wonderful, cute cabin with plenty of friendly dogs around and a clean space to relax in. Traveling internationally, it was wonderful to love on some dogs and enjoy the rural space with my partner.

Such a lovely stay. Being on property with the other dogs wasn’t a problem, they did bark a few times early in the morning, but it wasn’t a big problem for us. They also hosted our dog for a day and she was so well taken care of which meant a lot. It was a huge comfort knowing she was in such great company. The cabin was well appointed and it was great having the kitchen. Thank you for having us and for running this business!

We had a fantastic stay! If you’re a dog lover, you’ll have an absolute blast here. All the dogs staying over were super well-behaved and got on great with our own. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and had a great kitchen with everything we needed.I’m not usually one to write reviews, but this place is seriously underrated. Highly recommend!
