Secluded hilltop retreat with luxury and comfort.
Nestled on 4.2 hectares (10 acres) of serene, elevated land that offers peace and tranquillity, overlooking Whanganui River and across to Mt Ruapehu. Soak in the ambient sounds of the river below and birdlife all around. Located in Taumarunui, King Country. Despite our rural location on the Old Forgotten Highway SH43, we are only 2.8km from town. Conveniently close to epic cycle adventures, walking trails, golf course, kayaking and jetboat activities, the Forgotten World rail cart, Alpaca farm, four gardens of significance including Bradley’s Gardens and Lavendar farm. Fly fishing is a 1-minute stroll away. We’re also an easy drive to the National Park, Tongariro Crossing and ski fields.Two newly constructed homes designed to maximise views and privacy. Available to book either individually or both together. Both two-bedroom homes offer king beds throughout, black out blinds for a great night’ sleep, all linen provided, coffee/tea, safe, free WiFi and every comfort of home.

Adventure Wonderland
On theFriday, it was a pleasure and delight to walk into a clean, modern, haven on a hilltop overlooking the Forgotten Highway.After an amazing Saturday on the railway carts and jet boats of Forgotten World Adventures on it was a lovely place to return to.
