- Escape to a charming one-bedroom cottage in the heart of Taupō, perfect for couples or two guests. Enjoy a cosy and comfortable retreat just minutes from the lakefront, cafés, restaurants and shops. Relax after a day exploring the beautiful surroundings, or enjoy a leisurely stroll into town. Whether you’re visiting for adventure, relaxation or a weekend getaway, this centrally located cottage is the perfect base to experience all that Taupō has to offer.
Please note this is attached to the main house and can be booked also for extended family staying at the adjacent listing.
The apartment has a King bed and its own bathroom including a shower toilet and vanity.
There is a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, jug, toaster and Air Fryer.
Free WIFI is also provided
Perfect for couples to explore and enjoy the Taupo region.
Guest access is to the cottage, this is attached to the main house but is separate and private.
The garage is not available.
We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.
Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from
