"Beautiful 1883 hotel. Well maintained, rooms are very simple, no microwaves or refrigerators, everything was super clean and beds were comfortable, but not memory foam. Very easily walkable to everything in town. Beautiful view of the lake. Pool is huge. Very nice day without being extravagant. There are a lot of stairs, and it can be a little bit of a walk to the parking lot, easy for some, but others may prefer something a little more convenient."

"The room had bugs roaches and gnats rust was around the doors other guests were noisy no drapes lights were shinning in windows no coffee only bagels apples for breakfast toaster wasn't working properly vanity kept holding water wasn't draining shower dripped all night I was so disappointed on my stay I will never stay at Opal again very disheartening."

"I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place. The property is attractive, well maintained, and clean. The hotel appears brand new. My wife and I were greeted as soon as we walked in and we informed the person at the front desk that we were checking in but that we had a reservation at the spa that we didn’t want to be late for. A staff member was nice enough to walk us to the spa . We had a couples massage and it was terrific. The spa had a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Ate dinner at the restaurant which was of excellent quality and value. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Not sure if it’s because it was off season ( June) but everything was surprisingly affordable as well."

"The price was certainly right. All the staff was courteous and respectful. Room was a typical room with 2 queens. Cleaned every day. Nice bar area. They do charge for overnight parking. When I need to stay in the area again I will definitely stay here vs others nearby. Highly recommend."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando Lake Mary

"The hotel was great. But we had a late flight that didn't get us to the hotel till after midnight. I had asked about a late check out and was told there would be a few and we could only find out the morning of. Which defeated the point. We were getting ready and the housekeeper knocked on the door at 9:30 am to ask if we were leaving. His report told him we had already checked out. So much for a little extra sleep. The breakfast was cold. But at least the coffee was hot. I would stay there again but just not for a late night arrival again."
