"We had minor toilet issues and they didn’t have the right back for it. You can’t use the sink and shower at the same time in our room you lose all pressure and it goes ice cold. I definitely wouldn’t come back for what we paid! We stayed on a VERY NICE resort in marathon for about 100 dollars less a night. On a good note all of the other guest and people in the community that we ran into were very nice and social. "

"Great place to stay. Quiet area clean and comfortable. Clean. The main tub could have been set to get a wee bit warmer, suspect the anti scald on the tub is just set real low for children, but not warm enough for adults. Other than that, was easy in and out. Check in is really late in the day at 5 PM, plan accordingly. "

"Island Bay Resort was even better than we had anticatiped. The resort is beautifully maintained. Our cottage was uniquely decorated, very clean and very comfortable. We loved the intimacy and peacefulness of this small resort. Because there are only 10 cottages, and no additional guests are allowed, it is never crowded or noisy. Just what we were looking for! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We spoke with Daniel, the owner a couple of times and could tell he and the staff work hard to maintain the beauty of the resort. We loved being able to use the kayaks and paddleboards without having to rent them. The beach view is lovely and the water is crystal clear. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay!"

"It was a very nice hotel, with a clean pool and room. We were able to park right outside our hotel, it’s far from the main road so no noise issues, you could rent out the kayak and paddle boards for free. The person that checked us in was very nice and we would definitely come back here again. "

"We had a great experience. Loved watching the sunset from the top deck. Great to cruise around in the electric catamaran. Kelly’s recommendations were great. We found the sand bar and the Dive restaurant at Mangrove Marina was fun with the live music."
