"We were very happy with the apartment we rented. It had every kitchen appliance we could possibly need, tv in two rooms and boardgames to use. The view was also amazing, though you should be aware that you need to be able to climb to the fourth floor in order to get to the apartment and the view. Nice bathrooms and beds and everything was very tidy and clean. Best suited for a family seeing as the downstairs bed is a doublebed and then there's two single beds on a second floor under the roof....

"Classic residence, huge spacious and comfortable. Fully self contained with all you need. Great location and amazing views over the outer harbour. Short walk along waterfront to bars and restaurants. Clean and well maintained. Upper floor, up stairs no elevator. Small bathroom. Exterior under renovation, but did not inconvenience us. Overall fully recommended, exceeded expectations, would suit family of 4, with space for more if needed. "

"Regrettably, we had to leave swiftly after the internal security door to our apartment failed and we had an intruder enter our apartment whilst we were in it!! This was very distressing and concerning being a family with a small child. Subsequently , we reported it to the Police (and owner) as internal security failings compromised our stay and we had to leave earlier than planned through fear of who else may have been able to gain access to us and our child. "Very nice hotel but more suited to connoisseurs of food ,which was exceptional with prices to match. With only the al a carte menu I’m not sure it suit the average holiday maker unless eating out elsewhere most days. I spent over £350 for six evening dinners excluding wine. Sometimes after a days walking you just want steak and chips not a very prettily decorated plate as tasty as it maybe it’s not going to satisfy your hunger. I’m not knocking the food it was absolutely delicious but every night with no wholesome alternatives? Not for everyone. Save it for your 50th anniversary not a base camp for exploring Devon."

"Only issue that I can mention was the fact there was no one at the pool reception when we went for our first swim. A guest had to show me how to access. Consequently I went into the members changing room then when I eventually spoke to a girl she informed me I should not be there but to go to the other changing room. Had to ask for a tag. 2nd day no problem and helpful staff. Breakfast amazing It was my birthday and they gave me a little gift. Will definitely be going back"
