"Ron with Waya rentals was excellent to work with and friendly. The house is a wonderful location, near many types of activities and plenty to do even if you just stayed home! The kitchen is spotless and VERY well appointed. The bathrooms are clean and the beds are VERY comfortable. The sheets and towels are soft and also very comfortable. We very much appreciated Ron's help and genuine care for our comfort and happiness. The posting and pics are true and honest. We hope to return with more family for a larger gathering in the future and we like that our dog may be able to join us. All communications were clear and thorough. Make sure to bring ice, coffee and firewood. Our only complaint was some "odors" such as a strong ammonia smell upon entering that dissipated with ceiling fan use, and a bit of a "musty dampness" in the lower level - which is somewhat expected in a partially underground level during a rainy/humid time. We are not fond of riverbed rock shower floors, but that's a preference, not a complaint."

"This rental is clean and very quiet. It’s on the edge of town, but close enough to walk downtown in 5 minutes. The beds were comfortable and its a great size for a small family. The price was more reasonable than a lot of comparable properties. It’s been remodeled nicely and definitely feels like a “lake style” apartment.We really enjoyed our stay."

"Very nice and clean little cottage in a cute neighborhood. I wish walking into New Buffalo was easier, but it’s not really within walking distance with the roads. I didn’t ask this ahead of time so no fault of VRBO host just so future renters are aware.The unit is extremely comfortable with everything and more than you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The owner goes above and beyond to make it feel like home."

"Property itself was excellent- very clean, very spread out, lots of areas to hang out together. We were two couples and could play a game at one of the tables or one couple could be in one area watching a movie, the other in another room reading. The showers and water pressure were very good, the kitchen beautiful, although it would have been nice to have some room to store our food- all the cupboards were full.We had a LOT of rain and it was very buggy so we weren't able to really spend any time outside. Although there's a lot of trees and some distance, the property is against an interstate. Our queen bed was great, but our friends said the king was VERY soft. That's a matter of personal taste.My biggest disappointment was the lighting. The front room is amazing with big comfy couches and a gas fireplace. The only lighting, though, is harsh spotlights that couldn't be dimmed. There were no lamps. The back room was similar, with lots of great couches and surrounded with windows (what a great room!) but you were able to dim the light on the ceiling fan, which made it much more conducive to reading or watching a movie. I'm probably giving more detail than needed, but that's just the way I do things. ;-)"

"We enjoyed our stay and found the house to be perfect for our needs. The photos accurately represent the space—it is small, but the thoughtful decor and comfortable furnishings made it feel warm and inviting. We especially loved the back porch, which was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee before heading to the beach.There were a couple of things that could have made our stay even better. When we arrived, we were a little surprised to find trash left in the garbage can and dishes on the counter drying on a towel. Our biggest challenge, however, was the limited clothing storage. The small lockers provided weren’t particularly practical for adult-sized clothing, so we ended up living out of our suitcases for the week. A small bureau or dresser in the master bedroom would make a wonderful addition.One of our favorite parts of the trip was visiting New Buffalo Beach each day and spending afternoons at Post Boy listening to music. Overall, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and location."
