Delightful Rustic Home 10 minutes from the Historic Town of Telluride Colorado

  • Our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin style home offers very affordable accommodations, only minutes from Telluride. Secluded 2 acre lot at 10,000 feet, with fabulous views of the San Juans Mountains, towering aspens and spectacular sunsets enjoyed through the large floor to ceiling windows. All the amenities, including a gas and wood fireplace, large high-def TV, high-speed wireless internet, wifi and plenty of parking. At a fraction of the price of in-town facilities (we like to support affordable rates for our families) you will appreciate easy access to Telluride's festivals and fabulous dining yet relax in peace and quite at the end of the day. The world class Telluride Ski Resort is just five minutes away. Bike, hike or just hang out at one the world's most historic resort towns. This is your home away from home.

    Our long term tenant lives in a completely separate unit in the downstairs. She works in the service industry in Telluride. We feel it is important to support affordable housing for the town's employees. Over the ten years we have been sharing our home, our guests have come to appreciate what we have. Seclusion, privacy and value. A great many return year after year.

    Location: Our home is in the Ski Ranches at ten thousand feet elevation, (300 Beaver Pond Ln. Telluride CO 81435) one mile from the entrance to Mountain Village Ski & Golf Resort. We are ten miles from the town of Telluride with access to Hwy #145. The town is accessible by road or by Gondola. We often drive to the parking in Mtn. Village (sometimes free) and ride the Gondola (free of course) to the ski area or into town for shopping or dining. Most everything from the Gondola is within walking distance and there is no hassle with parking.

Great place to go skiing in Telluride

We were very pleased with the cabin. Short 5-10 minute drive to the Mountain Village area to ski, depending on the amount of snow. Had a lot of snow while we stayed so the view was beautiful. Plenty of space in the cabin for us. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Great place.

Quiet house near ski village

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in this home. It was a perfect spot to relax in the mornings before our daily activities and in the evenings upon our return. We enjoyed the trail that was right off the home for some added time outside. The house is in a private, quiet location but still so easy to get to all of the amenities of the ski village and town of Telluride. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Perfect Snowy Cabin Experience

We had the most magical time staying at this cabin. The view from the patio was stunning, the fireplace relaxing, and the location ideal. The neighborhood is quiet and filled with goregous aspens and pines. The cabin was well stocked and cozy, with a great kitchen set up. We loved that we could get to the mountain village parking lot in about 10 minutes! We will be back!!

Perfect mountain get-away

This was our favorite rental house that we have stayed in over the past few years. It was perfect for our family since we wanted to be surrounded by nature while also being close to the town of Telluride. My sons enjoyed playing in the Aspen groves and exploring the trails nearby. The house was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and interesting walls made out of rocks and crystals. It was quiet and peaceful. The view from the deck was spectacular as well. Moreover, Lynn was a very helpful host. We hope to return many times!

The house was perfect for a family with kids and the price was reasonable. Beautiful views, good location to Mountain Village, kitchen was well stocked, check in and out was simple. One main complaint was room with bunk beds had a bad odor. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Hopefully it can be resolved

Peaceful and Tranquil

We had a wonderfully relaxing week in your home. We loved how it was off the beaten path from Mountain Village and downtown Telluride, but still very close by and convenient. We rented a car so we could go back and forth to the village, where we rode the free gondola every day. Kitchen was well stocked and beds comfy. Love the deck with the views and the beautiful hike to the water tower from the property. We had four of us in the three bedrooms and house was plenty spacious. It is rustic which we prefer. Our weather was fantastic. If you are a hiker, the Bear Falls Trail is a must.

Dream Setting

This rustic home has it all with its unique layout and gorgeous setting. Being surrounded by the beautiful golden aspen was heaven to us. Not to mention the wonderful windows that brought the outside, inside. Plus, there is a view of a mountain and even more views of mountains just down the road. We also enjoyed the trails that were just steps from the property. The house has plenty of room and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. Mountain Village is just a couple miles down the road. There is a free parking garage where you can take the gondola down to Telluride. It is very handy and relaxing to ride the gondola. The views are amazing. I would definitely recommend this rustic home. We will be back!!

Everything about the property and location was excellent. Lots of space and everything you could need for a great stay. There is a beautiful hike right out the back of the property full of aspens. The hosts were really communicative the entire time and the tenant who lives in the basement (separate entrance) was lovely and very welcoming.
