This private and quiet single family home sits at 9870 feet elevation in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, and connected by a gondola to picturesque Telluride. Mountain Village is comparably a world apart from other towns: beautifully orchestrated, planned overflowing with charm and sophistication. A World class ski resort with culture and vista's to match. You can walk steps to Lower Sundance ski run to start your day skiing/hiking. This run is accessed off lift 10 (Sunshine express lift) or the Prospect Bowl to get home at the end of the day.

There is a free gondola*** from the Market plaza to Mountain village core where you can connect to the gondola to Telluride.
It operates 7 days a week between 6.30am and midnight and 2am in season. There is also "dial-a-ride" to help you get around Mountain Village.

-Upper floor is king bed with en-suite double vanity bathroom with soaking tub and walk-in steam shower. Desk and laser printer to get some work done in privacy if needed.
-Main floor has living room, kitchen, gas fireplace, powder room, King with en-suite bathroom (walk-in shower); access to back decks, fire-pit and hot-tub.
-Lower floor has king bedroom w/ en-suite bathroom, walk-in shower and another bedroom with 4 twin beds (custom built in bunks). There is also another full bathroom (walk-in shower) located on this floor to service the bunk room. Additional media room on this floor with comfy seating, 75" TV and Bose sound bar. A separate space to curl up and watch a movie, the big game or video games for the kids.
-Entry level/garage level has a 2 car (1 car usable if using the games) private heated garage and ski locker room to store your ski gear and a place to get ready for the slopes. Boot/mitten warmer included. A separate room houses a full spectrum infrared SAUNA, small GYM to get a work out in, TV and additional laundry; or nice quiet place to do some yoga. The HEATED garage offers PING-PONG TABLE, FOOSBALL TABLE, TIKI-TOSS, CORN-HOLE and DART BOARD! You will also find a set of Frisbee golf discs, multiple sleds, frisbee, 4 fold-up festival chairs, and snow-shoes. If you need to park 2 cars in the garage, then the games can be moved. Otherwise there is space for another few cars in the driveway.
-Smart Televisions with cable channels in Living room, Media room, gym and ALL bedrooms! Bose sound-bars in living room and media room
-2 sets of full size laundry to get all that gear clean and dry for the next day.
-Corn-Hole to enjoy out back. Games, poker set, balls, sleds, frisbee, etc. to keep the whole fam entertained
-Beverage/wine fridge at kitchen bar.
-Coffee lovers: Nespresso Original w/ milk frother & Kuerig-K Duo which makes single serve K-cups or a 12 cup drip pot, coffee bean grinder.

This was probably the best VRBO I’ve stayed at. The pictures were exactly like reality, there were so many amenities, very private but also close to everything. Myles, the owner, was super attentive and was quick to respond when we had a question. If you are comparing spots, I’d highly rec booking this!

It's all rehabbed with modern finishes, great linens and towels. The kitchen and great room was perfect for our family! The bedrooms are all big and private bathroom for all 4 bedrooms is the key to happiness. Myles and his team are very attentive. 5-stars and if you are thinking about it, just do it! The house had absolutely EVERYTHING a group could possibly need for a great stay. Beds were comfortable, great towels, fixtures, and all amenities like a nice hotel, but private. Sitting in the private secluded hot tub after a day on the slopes was wonderful, plus the game garage the kids and adults enjoyed. Five star stay. Navigating four flights of stairs may be an issue for some. Definitely for us flat landers was an air sucking experience at altitude. Would I stay here again next time in Telluride, YES.

Not only was Telluride Mountain a beautiful ski resort with terrain for the whole family; this home was amazing. So thought out. You can not get a more direct ski-in/Out which makes such a difference with young kids. We even stopped in for lunch a few days as it was so easy to pop our skis off right at the house. And the Apres-Ski in the hot tub at the end of the day... My whole family fit in the hot tub; which you do not normally see! The house was **** and span clean. The Media room was a nice break for my kids and was separated from the family room. And all the games and amenities in the heated garage kept them busy all night. I even took a sauna in the mornings to sweat out my demons. Thanks again for letting stay in your "Winterleaf Telluride" home. We will be back again soon hopefully!

Slope Side Telluride Bliss

This is our 3rd trip to Telluride and our favorite so far because of this home. We ordered grocery pick up in Montrose and grabbed them when leaving the airport. The kitchen was stocked to perfection and we cooked most of our meals in. We had rental cars but found that the free dial a ride service was way more convenient. They were there within 5 minutes or less and it was a short trip to the gondola station or store for any additional needs. The house was beautifully furnished, had comfortable bedding, seating and plenty of space for our entire group. The owner was super responsive with any questions/needs we had. Christy Sports ski delivery and pick up directly from the house was seamless. We had six inches of fresh powder overnight and the landscape guys were there first thing, clearing the drive, walkways and around our vehicles. Everyone was pleased with the stay and we hope to visit again on our next trip to Telluride.

Most accurate description ever

Our stay at the Winterleaf house in Mountain Village was wonderful. The description was extremely accurate which is often lacking in other properties these days. Myles did a great job communicating with us before, during and after our stay. For skiers, it really is a ski in and ski out property. The house is located on the Sundance run about 100 yards down from where Teddy's Way joins with Sundance. All accessed via lift 10 (Sunshine Express). There are quite a few steps (50 maybe) to walk up from the ground floor ski gear storage to the run but if you're skiing, that's no big deal. We left our skis and poles at the top of the stairs everyday. Almost everything in the house is new or extremely clean. We were the first to use the crockpot and the bbq grill. It's also well stocked with all the little kitchen gadgets and plates and cooking supplies you need. There are even games in the pantry. We really appreciated having TWO sets of washers and dryers. There are lots of stairs as the house has 4 stories. We had to watch the little ones carefully. It was also very nice having a two car heated garage.

We had teens with us and they loved all the activities in the garage as well as the hot tub. I can't really think of any amenity that we lacked. Property management was proactive and helpful. There are lots of different levels, which was nice to be away from the teens, but could be a downside if mobility is a question.
