Requested a ground floor room as my wife can not climb stairs. Given a 1st floor room no ground floor available. Once I got my wife upstairs she was stuck there Extremely difficult to get back down or up again

AMAZING PLACE
We arrived, the lady who booked us in was superb. We asked if there was a lift (they have a magnificent spiral staircase). She lept up and grabbed our bags, and sprang up the stairs, what a star! Shame we didnt have the same leaving, as were obviously strugging bringing our bags down said stairs. This man sprightly ran down the side of us without a whisper, to get behind the reception to receive our payment, ruining a brilliant stay. This place is amazing, it was clean, the features of the room, the doors, windows, furniture is magnificent. There was central heating in the room, a bonus because it was -3° when we reached our frozen car. Its a shame that this was just a stop over, as we would have loved to have stayed longer. There was a television in the room, but no remote, so we couldnt watch any tv, as we were very tired, we didn't need it, but it would have been good to have it in the room. This place is amazing, if you want to stop anywhere near this place choose this, you will nit regret it.

Quiet Waystation
Don't know what it is like in the summer. It was basically empty when we were there. At the price we paid it was a bargain. No food/ no other service than a bed for the night.

It was disappointing that their Cafe did not open for desayuno! Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. No lift to rooms so if you have dodgy hip and find stairs difficult may be this not for you. Overall I thought this was excellent value for an overnight stop without need for 5 star facilties! I will use again

A little strange.
Very pretty part of the town about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was a little strange. We have stayed in many small hotels all over Spain during our travels. This hotel was not unpleasant...just a little strange. The small attached bar seemed to be more important than the hotel...we were made very welcome but felt a little "in the way" A shame because the building is very nice. There was free onsite parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Check the price on checkout...hotel tried to overcharge us what was quoted on booking.

Quality roadside inn
A great little roadside hotel with surprisingly nice bathrooms. Facilities are solid and service is friendly if a little relaxed. Decent food in the cafe-bar and the outdoor seating is a nice place to relax. The immediate area is pretty barren but you're not staying here for the attractions.

Handy to the motorway but don't expect much.
On arrival the doors to reception didn't open. We found our way through to check in via the bar/restaurant. It seemed there were only two people operating the hotel the gentleman behind the bar and a lady who worked everywhere else. It seemed she couldn't find our reservation but did eventually check us in. We hoped to get some dinner in the bar/restaurant but found out there was nothing available until 9pm okay when you are Spanish but not great for travellers. On check out while the reservation via hotels.com said the charge should be €42 they tried to say we owed €55. When I pointed this out the charge was amended.

A good pit-stop
A basic, functional room for the night - the price was right for the accomodation. Very little staff in evidence, and access and exit was through the bar - which is very popular with the locals - and not through the front door which was locked. A good stop if you're driving south and want to get a bit of a head start on Madrid in the morning.

OK for a overnight stop
This was an affordable hotel for a overnight stop, during a road trip in Spain. We select it because it was on our route and the price was appealing. It also included a very basic breakfast, but we can't expect much more for the listed price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The small village was also worth a quick walk.

For the price, decent overnight stay
The hotel lights were off, so we had to enter through the restaurant. No elevators, so had to drag a suitcase up the stairs. The remote control or wifi were not given/mentioned to us, so had to come back down to grab those. We sat at the restaurant for dinner at 7.30pm, being told the chef will come in at 8, but till 9pm the chef was not ready to take any orders. Went back up to sleep. For breakfast, you had to ask for coffee and toasted bread, the waiter was not forthcoming, possibly due to language barriers. For the cheap price of the stay, I think this is what you get :) Free parking at the hotel was helpful as well.

A great surprise
I was a bit skeptical when I drove up and checked in but the hotel beat expectations in every way. Large clean and quiet rooms with excellent wifi signal. The large sweeping staircase in the foyer and the Castilian (??) style architecture suggest another time. It’s ideally situated near the freeway with easy off/on access so it’s easy to find if driving through area need an overnight rest stop. The town is small so gauge expectations for restaurants and services accordingly.

Good overnight stop over
Driving through Spain, great place to stop over. Clean & friendly place for an overnight stop. We have used this hotel a number of times and always got great service and value.

Fantastic apart from the noise
Everything was fantastic except for the noise. The courtyard below all the rooms is used as bar extension and smoking area and it was a Saturday night. There was lots of noise until 4am. Breakfast was free but then it was only coffee and a cake.

Truly a Spanish Beauty
The Hotel had better days due to the economic downturn in Spain, but the staff was friendly and helpful and if you are going to se the windmills of La Mancha its a great location. Also there is a great little restaurant nearby next to an old bullfighting ring. We recommend the steak at $11. the meal was fabulous!

HANDY FOR MOTORWAY BUT WITH RESERVATIONS !
We arrived at the hotel late evening after a long drive from Santander in early April. It is very convenient for the motorway and this is why we booked it. We were disappointed to find there was no food available and that the only member of staff present had no English and could not direct us to any restaurants. We eventually found a local cafe which was excellent. The hotel entrance was very gloomy and we were therefore pleasantly surprised to find the room itself very comfortable. The breakfast on offer the next day was simply coffee and small donuts. Overall not an ideal experience but this may have been due to the fact it was out of season.

Great Stopover. travelling Santander to Andalusia
I have used this hotel 4 times over recent years when driving from the ferry ports in Northern Spain to Andalusia. South of Madrid it is more than half way on this journey right next to the A4. Your car is secure in a locked compound at the rear important as I am always fully loaded! Very conformable hotel - great rates- free fast wi fi, and an excellent restaurant/ tapas bar in town by the church about 15 minutes walk.I will be returning!

El hotel nos ha parecido fatal.Teníamos reserva de una habitación para cuatro, dos adultos y dos niños, y cuando llegamos no había ninguna disponible. Nos ubicaron en dos habitaciones y nuestra sorpresa cuando subimos fueron las paredes de los pasillos desconchadas y las puertas de las habitaciones sin manivelas y los agujeros de los huecos tapados con cinta aislante y algodón para que no te vieran dentro de la habitacion. El baño con la bañera con picotazos y ni toallas ni gel para ducharse, tuvimos que bajar a pedirlas al muchacho y nos dio 4 toallas arrugadas y manchadas. El suelo que era imitando a parqué estaba hasta quemado en algunas zonas. Vamos un desastre, no volveremos y desde luego que no lo aconsejo nada de nada, parece un hostal de carretera.
