"The people and place were welcoming and helpful. From dealing with a medical emergency to finding a last minute ride to the airport, our hosts could not have been more lovely. They accommodated us more then enough and treated us like family/close friends. We loved our down time at the villa in the swimming pool and on the amazing verandas, and strolling the streets of the village throughout the day was peaceful and picturesque. "Food was varied and plenty at every meal. The staff is kind and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need.the views and the balcony are spectacular. The only negatives: beaches are tiny and very rocky. Sea is crystal clear and refreshing but you have to walk down hills and mountains to reach the beaches and it can be challenging for small children or older people. Beaches are public and you have to pay 10 euros for a bed. In the hotel, Ac is perfect. However, you cannot put toilet paper in the toilet which was super inconvenient and unsanitary. The rooms are carved into the mountain which creates a romantic atmosphere but after a week up and down stairs and narrow passages, I do not mind leaving. Overall, it was a nice stay but would not come back."
