So guests can enjoy the privacy and comfort of a home, while also taking advantage of complementary concierge services and the added bonus of laundry service or having the hotel restaurant bring meals right to your door. Or better yet, have the restaurant set up the cozy rooftop Terrace for a romantic sunset, prosecco and sushi dinner. Followed by some epic stargazing while enjoying some fabulous local coffee and in-house made dessert. The jungle setting is quite unique to the area. During the dry season it always remains lush and green, with mammoth Guanacaste and mango trees, whose branches offer much appreciated shelter for regularly visiting troops of Howler monkeys, and blessed shade for the lagoon style pool area, make it a cool and refreshing respite. So while it feels like you are in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle, it’s just steps to the beach, giving you the best of both worlds.

The property also has many fruit trees, and medicinal plants. Numerous animals reside on and frequent the property, such as armadillos, tucans, iguanas, monkeys, codamundis, tree frogs, fruit bats, hummingbirds, motmots, and more! You never know what you’ll see from day to day but there’s always something.

Surfside Playa Potrero is the perfect location to be able to walk to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shops, yoga, gym, boot camp, horseback riding, sailing and other activities. It is perfectly centralized as an easy jump off point for day tripping or real estate excursions. Scooter rentals are available onsite too. This area is particularly popular because it is in close proximity to 3 out of 5 of Costa Rica‘s most highly rated beaches! It is also only 45 minutes to the Liberia airport. So whether you chose to stay here at the beginning of your travels or the end of your travels (or the whole time) it makes perfect logistical sense.

The home itself is solid, built out of concrete block. It is heat and sound insulating and has all the amenities one could need. Little luxuries and special touches can be seen throughout in the numerous art installations and in the unexpected like the outdoor shower and the bidet in the master bathroom.

The master bedroom has an office area and a floor area large enough to add an extra futon if you wanted 1-2 children to sleep in your room. Just let us know at the time of booking so we can be sure to have it set up for you.

The main floor bedroom also has a deluxe king mattress as well as a private walkout area with a hammock just beaconing for someone to take a nap in it.

The rooftop terrace is the highlight of the home. Long lazy nights where time stands still is what it’s best known for.
