Cozy and quiet
Ideal place to if you want space and a country feel. Safe, clean, and quiet. Perfect size for my husband and I with our dog, Maggie. Will look this place up again next time we stay in the area.

Stayed here with my husband and sister, we were very impressed to see the property very well taken care. Very thoughtful by leaving us some muffins and snacks available at our arrival. Hope to stay there again.

We loved the quiet, clean, well maintained house. It is very charming and we appreciated so much, the extra thoughtful touches like breakfast muffins and snacks, movies, board games and books to read. It is thoughtfully decorated and cheerful. If we were frequent vacationers to this area, we would most definitely rent again!!

Quick get away
This place is in the country absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We sat in the rockers on the porch in the evenings 2nd nite we sat out & watched the thunderstorm. Ower is very easy to contact. We loved it

Exactly like the pictures show. Quiet and away from all the city noise. The horses really enjoyed the apples we gave them every day. Personal touches were so nice. Highly recommend staying here. Hope to be back.

We got in late, Instructions were excellent a few days before leaving which was very helpful, the little snacks were wonderful for a late arrival. We rented a car at Austin Airport and there was covered secure parking. Coffee for morning, so many little things shampoo,rinse. We didn’t cook but could with an oven and microwave. Excellent country morning walks. We definitely would return

A very nice studio arrangement that worked really well for us on our trip. Was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed being able to go out and feed the horse in the field next to the house.

Peaceful stay for work trip
My wife spent 2 weeks here while on a med school clerkship. She enjoyed the nice, calm surroundings, especially the horses and cows. The accommodations were comfortable, and the host was very attentive and responsive.

Right up my alley!
The location, the quaintness, the cleanliness, the quietness, the view, the house setup…were perfect!! Stayed the weekend for daughter’s weekend activities at Mary Hardin-Baylor. The cottage is ideally located to go into Belton, UMHB, and Temple. Two adults stayed very comfortably. Everything was easy with check-in and check-out. Will definitely stay again when in the area and have shared it with friends and family as a suggestion when needing a place to stay or for a get away.

Super nice property that’s close to town and in the country as well. Peaceful, well appointed with everything you could need. I would recommend some attention to the bed, it’s a bit saggy and you tend to roll to the middle but otherwise fantastic!

The location was perfect, short drive to Belton and wedding venue. Cottage was located in a neighborhood that was quiet and had little-to-no traffic. Street was mainly used by few residents in the area. Great stay and felt safe. Host lives in main house on the property.

Perfect set Up
My husband and I rented this cute little place for the weekend while we attended a friends wedding. The house was so clean and set up perfect. Ms DeYette left us Muffins which were so appreciated since we arrived hungry! We were also treated to a variety of snacks and fruit! The property was so nicely manicured and the surrounding area was so quiet and Peaceful. The horses were lovely and we enjoyed feeding them horse treats we brought. Even if you are not in the area for a specific reason, this is a nice spot to just relax. We will be back!

I stayed a full month at Bell County and can not say enough good things about it. The home offers the peace and quiet of the country but is just minutes from down town. Further more, DeYette goes above and beyond as a host. I would highly recommend this booking!

Hosts were great and answered any questions we had. This place was just right for us, peaceful and quiet. A little ways out of closest town yet everything we wanted to do and see was within a 10-mile radius. We highly recommend it for anyone wanting a getaway!

Great, comfortable visit.
My autistic adult sister and I enjoyed our little Thanksgiving visit. We were able to cook a dinner and watch a few movies. We enjoyed the walk in the area and seeing the horses and local walking park. Perfect for our stay.

Why stay anywhere else!
Welcome feeling from the start to end of our stay. Beautifully decorated cottage, bright & cheerful, with wonderful views of the horses grazing from the front porch rocking chairs. Private yet within close proximity to restaurants and shopping in the area. Also traveled to historic Salado, Magnolia Farms in Waco & Austin which where easy drives from the Texas Star Cottage.
