"Amazing stay for three nights. Wonderful, natural area. Also nice and quiet, not loud or pretentious. Rooms are comfortable and have great air conditioning. The shower was incredible, best yet on my Guatamala travels. Lovely pool and very polite service from the waiters and front desk. I was very much impressed by the area, stunning natural beauty and so much wildlife to be seen, including crocodilea and turtles in the lake. If I was to suggest one thing, it would be drinking water facilities in the rooms or perhaps a reception area. But the bar staff were happy to fill out bottles from the bar. Highly recommend this place if you love natural beauty and nature. Food was also good. Oh and definitely recommend taking the mountain bikes out on the trails, not for the faint of heart though, bring lots of water!"

"The location on the lake gives a wonderful view of Isla de Flores and is conveniently located within walking distance of shopping and some good restaurants. The swimming pool was a great respite from the hotter-than-normal temperatures. They also offer a free guided tour of island that was very enjoyable and informative."

"A beautiful oasis close to the park- beautiful rooms right in the jungle. I saw several toucans on the property, turkeys, and at night you can hear howler monkeys. The staff was incredibly helpful and they can arrange airport pick up and drop offs and tours to the park. Edward at the front desk was very helpful answering all my questions and gave me great advice for the park. The restaurant at the hotel is fantastic and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely would stay here again. Loved it, beautiful, has heart, feels luxurious and can cater to Western tastes but also very low key and authentically Guatemalan. Lake is incredible. People were wonderful. Frogs and monkeys were adorable. Stay here!"

"This was the best stay ever! This property is fantastic! It has a very tasty restaurant, caring staff, a nice pool, and its location in Tikal is amazing! One of my favorite things about this hotel was how the wildlife was right outside your room! I saw birds, monkeys, and pizotes. This hotels location was perfect to enjoy the parks- I booked a sunset tour with the hotel which was also AMAZING! This hotel was an entire experience in itself and I am so happy I was able to stay here."
