They are just less than 100 ft apart from each other. A perfect spot for a group seeking that special, quintessential West Texas experience while being right outside Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost Town.

When renting both together, you'll have Casa Piedra — a cozy, adobe bungalow with a king-size bed, a spacious waterfall shower, an outdoor shower, and an outdoor fire pit. You'll also have the Desert Pearl, which is a bohemian-style trailer balanced with a rugged yet charming exterior and a comfortable interior fitted with modern amenities.

  • The Rio Grande River winds 12 miles down Santa Elena Canyon in Big Bend National Park, Texas. When the water is high you can come down the 1,500 foot walled canyon. With less water flowing, guides take you 3 to 4 miles up the canyon with some spots having to portage. But take it all in stride because the views are breathtaking. I recommend Big Bend River Tours. You might get lucky and have the guides that take you a half mile up a side canyon. An excellent day excursion in the out of the way national park.

Great Location - Nice Amenities

Overall Great Place to stay...Perfect for couples I would say. Filtered Water, Great Coffee selection, very comfortable beds, and great fire pits outside. Would stay here again.
